Start your day right – having oats for breakfast benefits your gut health, nourishes your nervous system and also they have the potential to be made super delicious with different flavours every time you cook them! This morning I have a yummy healthy salted caramel topping!  
In a saucepan I cooked 1/2 cup organic rolled oats with a heaped tsp of cinnamon in almond milk

Add a cup of frozen organic mixed berries and stir the mixture over a low heat until you see the oats start to turn gluggy and smooth (about 5 mins)

Salted Caramel sauce – this is soo simple to make and full of minerals like iron, magnesium, zinc and calcium

2 heaped teaspoons of unhulled tahini

1.5-2 tsp of maple syrup

Pinch of salt

Mix all the caramel sauce ingredients together in a small bowl and top your oats with it. I added some cacao nibs too for crunch

Remember to choose organic produce where possible and to eat mindfully.
